How does Relive employ people?

We can only hire on official employment contracts to those located in the Netherlands and, through an Employer of Record (EOR) company ( Remote.com ) in any country within the CET +1/-1 timezone.


Relive is a remote-first company, why does it matter what time zone or region I’m in? Why can't I tailor my working hours if I am outside of the CET +1/-1 timezone?

Relive remote work policy allows you to work in any country in the CET +1/- 1 CET time zone range. Unfortunately, we've not mastered the art of working across many time zones and we don't plan to invest our time in that challenge in the next few years.

We understand that candidates may sometimes express willingness to tailor their working hours from their current to a required time zone, but it's important to note that we cannot consider such requests.


How long is the recruitment process at Relive and when will I get a response after each stage?

You will receive a feedback and response within 3 working days after each stage.
The whole recruitment process with Relieve takes 2 weeks, but of course, it depends on your availability as well. We aim to make the process fast and simple Nerd Face


Why am I being asked to do an "async" interview, aka questionnaire/ challenges?

In order to keep the process moving quickly and in alignment with  our fully remote work culture  here at Relive we use this asynchronous process.
We use plenty of online tools that enable us to work asynchronously and keep the team productive.


As a fully remote company, is there a way to socialize with team members in real life?

We believe that connecting in real life fosters better personal relations, which in turn boosts engagement and leads to better teamwork and improved productivity.
For this reason, we have 2 ways to meet with our colleagues:
Company-wide retreat - We aim to get the whole company together once a year. We use this time to connect with everyone throughout the company to get to know each other better, discuss company challenges and opportunities and have a lot of fun.
Team offsites - The purpose of this connection time is to align, create trust and increase collaboration while taking on a project/challenge together that is more effective in person.


Can I re-apply if I've been unsuccessful?

It happens that sometimes you haven't developed the skills we require for the role, or the role that matches you is non-existent yet, and your interviewing process might be unsuccessful.

Usually, we ask candidates to wait six months before applying for another role in Relive. This gives you time to develop new skills and gain experience to be successful in the interview process in the future.
